Each year, Interfraternity Council(IFC) fraternities hold formal recruitment in September to give you an opportunity to check out all of the groups on campus. Lasting just a few days, formal recruitment will introduce you to each group, provide an opportunity to meet the brothers of each group and ultimately help you decide if Greek life is for you. To sign up for formal recruitment, just fill out our on-line registration form.

Many members also join fraternities through informal recruitment. Informal recruitment is held throughout the year so if you missed September formal recruitment, check out the Greek Calendar to see when the next group is holding informal recruitment.

To be a considered for membership in any IFC fraternity at UT, you must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum 2.4 GPA from high school
• Minimum 2.3 GPA from college
